I am a sophomore who resides in Copperbeech Townhomes. Although the space here temps students to sign a lease, I would not recommend living here. The management here is awful. You pay a 200 dollars cleaning fee, and a 165 dollar security deposit. Come to find out my apartment paid 800 dollars(4 person apartment) for cleaning and at the end of the year the tenants do most all of the apartment cleaning. The management does not refund your security deposit because they said they use it all for smoke alarms. A 165 dollars a person only goes towards smoke alarms? Give me a break! Management entered my friends apartment installed all new smoke detectors with out them knowing and billed them 60 dollars a person. You have to pay for parking, and if your friends park here after 10pm they get towed, and it cost a 100 dollars. Copperbeech and the towing company tell you they have no affiliation, but Copperbeech actually gets half of the fee(thats what I heard from a lot of different people). Although the 1600 sq. ft. of space is ok...... It is not worth the pain and hassle of their rude behavior, hidden fees, and lying.
